
Workforce Council
The MediaMKRS Workforce Council brings together industry leaders dedicated to fostering a more equitable and inclusive talent pipeline for careers in media and entertainment. As a member, you will have the opportunity to shape workforce readiness standards, engage with emerging talent, and collaborate with peers across media and entertainment.
Membership Criteria
To be a part of the MediaMKRS Workforce Council, organizations must actively contribute to workforce development by engaging with us in at least two of the following ways:
Investing in the industry by making a financial commitment through:
Direct support to Reel Works
Funding a MediaMKRS training program
Providing a paid internship opportunity for emerging talent or sponsoring an intern at $2,000
In-kind support of $1,000 or more toward a MediaMKRS program
Participating in employee engagement and volunteer opportunities, such as:
Hosting workplace tours for Reel Works participants
Offering mock interviews, resumes, and/or portfolio reviews
Providing mentorship or guest speaking at Reel Works events
Engage in biannual 1:1 Meetings to maintain ongoing communication as engagement needs change and provide industry insight to help inform MediaMKRS’ future initiatives
One held at the MediaMKRS Summit during our Executive Breakfast
One dedicated strategy session to discuss workforce development initiatives + other employee engagement opportunities
This membership is valid for one calendar year and renewable annually.
