HBO’s The Gilded Age / I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 Introductory Props Department Training

In partnership with the I.A.T.S.E. Local 52, and supported by funding through Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO's The Gilded Age is hosting an intensive introductory training program to prepare New Yorkers with the essential skills needed to work successfully in the Props Department.

What does it cost?

  • There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid to participate.

Who should apply?

  • At least 21+ years of age

  • Not currently enrolled in full-time education

  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

  • At least 21+ years of age

  • Able to provide proof of residency within a 50-mile radius of Columbus Circle (2 hours max)

  • Strong organization skills

  • Strong interest in the props department

  • Creative background, including exposure to literature, art, and art history

    Preferred, but not required

  • Experience in stagecraft, carpentry, moving furniture, and sewing is valuable

  • Some production experience is preferred
